These Stars Slammed Trump Voters, Not Just Trump

Actors attack fellow Americans, ignoring impact on their bottom lines

Rachel Zegler needed medication to deal with the fallout from Disney’s “Snow White” debacle.

That might not have been necessary if she hadn’t insulted the IP years before the film hit theaters.

Even worse? Zegler said the cruelest thing possible to the 77 million people who voted for President Donald Trump last year.

The actress hoped Trump voters “never knew peace.” That massive group, in turn, likely looked the other way when “Snow White” hit theaters in March.

Snow White is a Historic FLOP, and That's a Good Thing

She’s far from alone in isolating and insulting MAGA Nation.

Yes, Hollywood stars routinely slam President Trump. They’ve done variations of that ever since he descended from the Trump Tower escalator 10 years ago.

Select stars like Zegler go beyond that. They directly target Trump’s voters, the same people who, in theory, could see their films, listen to their music or watch their TV shows.

Either the stars in question don’t care about pushing patrons away or they can’t help themselves.

Take Ethan Embry. The character actor (“Brotherhood,” “Can’t Hardly Wait”) recently slammed not just the president but his voters. Why? He didn’t approve of the bombing raids aimed at eliminating Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

“78,000,000 f***ing idiots in America brought us here.”

Said raid hit its intended targets, left zero U.S. casualties and helped spark the recent, and albeit tentative, peace deal between Iran and Israel.

“Ozark” alum Jason Bateman also directed his rage at Trump voters during a recent appearance with the far-Left talker Nicole Wallace.

[Trump] didn’t do a 180 and duped everybody when he got to the White House. It’s the people that have put him there and then put him there again that really deserve a great deal of responsibility and a talking to, I’m sorry. And I say that with love, they are our neighbors, as I said before. And I know that they are, you know, deservedly aggrieved and whatnot. But there’s another way to do it.

“Breaking Bad” alum Bryan Cranston has spent years attacking the MAGA faithful. In 2020, the actor lashed out at Trump’s base in this social media missive deemed accurate by the liberal fact-checking site Snopes.

“I’ve stopped worrying about the president’s sanity. He’s not sane. And the realization of his illness doesn’t fill me with anger, but with profound sadness. What I now worry about is the sanity of anyone who can still support this deeply troubled man to lead our country.”

More recently, he admitted to breaking a long-term friendship due to the person’s Trump support. Media superstar Megyn Kelly grilled him over the confession.

“The White Lotus” co-star Carrie Coon holds a similar grudge against Trump supporters. She told the extreme-Left panel on “The View” earlier this month that being a Trump fan is a deal breaker for her.

“There was a time when it was possible to have conversations about it. But when you’re in an authoritarian slide, it becomes a closed system. The leader is the source of information—that’s not penetrable. When you’re inside of that circular information system, then it’s very hard. It’s very hard to talk about anything because there’s no basis in fact.”

This kind of talk was also common during President Trump’s first term.

Music superstar Eminem told Trump voters not to buy his music or support him in any way. Far-left late night host Seth Meyers endorsed that philosophy after hearing the rapper’s pledge. Fellow late-night liberal Jimmy Kimmel wished “not good riddance but riddance” to his right-leaning fans.

That presumably meant those who voted for Trump.

Can Hollywood Survive Second Trump Wave?

One constant over the past decade? Patton Oswalt attacking all things Trump.

The veteran actor/stand-up can’t stop mocking the 45th and 47th president. But he also delights in savaging Trump voters. This message dates back to 2019:

“The President is a stupid a**hole and if you voted for him you’re a stupid a**hole and if you still support him you’re a stupid a**hole,” Patton Oswalt said. “Oh no this Tweet is going to make all the stupid a**holes not like me waaaaah.”

Actors can have opinions like the rest of us. They also depend on the public to support their livelihoods. It’s why they chow down red-hot wings and endure inane late-night show questions.

It’s all about publicity.

Some stars crush those attempts by insulting consumers who might otherwise support their work.

UPDATE: Former “Conan” sidekick Andy Richter attacked Trump voters from the safety of his Bluesky account. He predicted we’ll look back on MAGA with the same disgust we currently save for Nazis.

I would bet a zillion dollars that in the same way we use Nazi to describe a particular kind of person today, in 20 – 30 years people will use MAGA. So good job, america

Editor’s Note: It’s a brutal time to be an independent journalist, but it’s never been more necessary given the sorry state of the corporate press. If you’re enjoying Hollywood in Toto, I hope you’ll consider leaving a coin (or two) in our Tip Jar.

  1. Actors are just people playing pretend and saying what someone else wrote for them. They get to do the job until they get it right. we, in the real world, do not have that opportunity. We get talked to when it’s not right the first time. Why would I take ANY advice from them? And just because a musician makes good music does not mean they are knowledgeable about the world. I’ve been to many a concert and have listened to them speak, and I think, at least they make good music. I don’t go for their opinion. BUt many of them do not want people like us supporting them, I’m good with that. I will not see your concerts, movies, television shows, or anything else to give you my money.

  2. It’s a pathetic shame they make these comments from their mansions funded by the revenue their movies made off the very consumers they routinely insult. These people are so pitifully soft, both physically and mentally, they would not be able to defend themselves from a “good ol’ @ss whooping” by insulting us to our faces. There is a cure for TDS if you have the guts.

  3. Arm waving absolutists wrapped in moral indignation and righteousness are characters out of Dickens. Does Cranston’s imperative that abortion is a divine right include any other divine rights? Like voting for Trump? Didn’t think so. Doing that is evil. Cranston is just another totalitarian nihilist identifying as moral gatekeeper. So.very tiresome. Though it would be hilarious to watch him in a debate with Thomas Aquinas or even Thomas Sowell. Over and done in moments. That is now possible using AI but nihilists don’t do debates, they just make pathetic accusations and strut like peacocks.

  4. I was in denial for a very long time. I just refused to see it. But the evidence just kept piling up before my eyes. These folks hate us. Pure, unmitigated, vitriolic, white-hot-hate.

Video after video, story after story, riot after riot, celebrity post after post. It’s impossible to ignore at this point. And it’s dangerous. I’ve decided that the best thing I can do is to keep a safe distance.

  5. This has been going on since ’68. Same old stuff, but the speakers get dumber and dumber.

Thing is, I’ve never heard of almost all of these people. That makes me happy.

  6. They are certainly free to spout whatever opinions they wish.

And we are free to ignore them, and their products.

Hollywood actors are in a special position. They can make millions of dollars of potential profits fade away, simply by running their mouths.

  7. It’s the same hollywood cranks over and over. I won’t watch their old movies let alone new ones. And as far as cancelling friendships, I refuse to have friends or socialize with anyone that is a democrat. they are not normal people.

  8. I have no idea who most of those people are!
I admit that I LOVE movies – especially the old movies (1960’s and back)! I also have enjoyed Mr. Bateman’s performances in many movies. I have noticed though that most roles he’s a not all too bright character who is rescued or assisted by others with COMMON SENSE! I don’t think he’s really acting when playing the buffoon!
I do wonder why all these performers are so volatile concerning all us TRUMP supporters! Are they alienating us to PROTECT themselves? One of the funniest lines in one of those meaningless celebrity dress up events was Mr. Gervais “When they make the Jeffrey Epstein movie how many of you will play yourselves”?!!!! The REACTIONS were priceless! Now THAT would be ONE MOVIE I’d pay to see if it included ACTUAL FOOTAGE of those “stars” being led (not lead as most write – that’s a METAL) out of the Courtroom in SHACKLES!!

    1. Justine Bateman, his sister, definitely inherited the brains in that family. She left a lot of Hollywood behind and earned her college degree at a later age because she was so sick of the leftist hive mind. She didn’t directly diss her brother, but if you listen to what she was saying in the interviews where she talked about how the freedom of speech and expression had been destroyed in the cancel culture of Hollywood, she made a cogent, wonderful case for why she left and what she was doing to make a difference.
