Carano-Rousey Fight Reveals Ugly Blacklist Truth
MMA stars unite for Netflix grudge match, but media reaction is more telling

The headline says it all.
The Hollywood Reporter lets readers know that retired MMA stars Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano are getting back in the hexagon for one last match.
With one noteworthy twist:
Netflix Un-Cancels Gina Carano for MMA Fight With Ronda Rousey
Why was Carano canceled in the first place?
Pop culture observers know the score. Carano of “The Mandalorian” fame shared social media posts that didn’t align with the progressive narrative.
Carano also questioned the deeply flawed pandemic protocols of the time and refused to put her pronouns in her bio. Her Disney bosses warned her to cut it out, or else.
The MMA alum, ever a brawler, refused to stay silent.
So when Carano shared a Nazi-themed post warning what happens when we treat our neighbors as the enemy, not just people with whom we disagree, Disney fired her.
The dismissal did more than end her “Mandalorian” gig. It sent a signal throughout Hollywood that she was not to be hired again.
And she wasn’t.

She eventually found work outside of Tinsel Town via “Terror on the Prairie” and “My Son Hunter.” No more mainstream gigs, though. She later sued Disney and the parties settled, but not before the Mouse House suggested it might hire her in the future.
No such gigs have been announced, as of yet.
Again, the co-star of “Deadpool” and “Fast & Furious 6” lost her career for sharing the “wrong” thoughts.
Let that sink in.
And she’s not alone, of course. Many conservative stars have faced the new Hollywood Blacklist, from recognizable names like James Woods to countless others who fear sharing their right-leaning views will crush their careers.
Carano knew she faced professional pain for speaking her mind, but she was tough enough to do so and keep her dignity. If only her peers could say the same.
Not one major Legacy Media publication took Carano’s side during the entire fracas. Nor did any prominent Hollywood voices, let alone the starlets who attended the anti-Trump women’s marches in 2017.
Crickets.
Ethan Hawke, who recently claimed Americans can no longer speak freely in the Trump 2.0 era, didn’t come to her defense. Nor did her “Mandalorian” co-stars. Bill Burr belatedly praised Carano as a positive force on the show’s set, but he did so longer after her cancellation took hold.
Now, Carano’s fight skills find her employed by Netflix, at least for one special night. So how did THR reflect on her cancellation?
Readers will remember Carano from being fired from The Mandalorian after her outspoken conservative views ruffled feathers on social media.
Oh.
Did progressive stars wishing death on a sitting president ruffle any feathers, either on social media or elsewhere? What about talk show hosts comparing government agents to Nazis?
Apparently not.
THR and fellow Legacy Media outlets cried foul last year when CBS cut Stephen Colbert loose after costing the Tiffany network millions.
Any word about an actress cast aside for having the “wrong” opinions? The answer would be, “no.”
That tells you how deeper corrupt, Legacy media outlets are. They are the ones, driving the blacklist.
This is not a sign that Gina’s career has returned to normal. This is a desperate act. She’s not being casted in films or series. At least she won’t have to deal with the pending Mandalorian and Grogu fiasco. She deserves a cameo, but that’s asking too much.
Boom Baby, That’s what Imma talking’ bout! These people are fascists while they call us fascists. There are many young adults confused, likely because of Leftist professors, trying to figure out which side is right. Is it the side shrieking and functioning with their feelings, or is it the side winning lawsuits and restoring law and order, justice (Real justice). Everyone with a megaphone should be joining the fight, getting the truth out. This a smart reasonable article, no name calling, and facts easily provable. Thank you for that! A fan in Spokane.
I thought Gina had announced she was going to be starting a new series/pilot after the Disney settlement came. Nothing on IMDB.
It’s like those same outlets are trying to pretend that upcoming project, doesn’t exist, when it does.
