Is Bill Burr Still on Team Luigi?
Formerly unwoke comic leaving fans scratching their heads over turnaround
Bill Burr’s 2019 Netflix special “Paper Tiger” was just what the doctor ordered.
The Massachusetts native set woke snowflakes’ blue hair ablaze with his gags. He attacked DEI gone wild, mocking those who insist actors only take roles that reflect their actual life, background or physical state.
“‘Why is there an able-bodied person playing a quadriplegic?’” Burr said about Bryan Cranston’s starring role in “The Upside,” the tale of a quadriplegic in distress. “It’s called acting, you dumb f***.”
Glorious.
That Bill Burr may be gone for good. The comic actor hasn’t been as outrageous or funny in some time. He’s all over the map when it comes to the woke mind virus now, often sounding like a second-rate Hasan Piker.
In short, what the bleep happened to him?
His craziest recent comments connect to Luigi Mangione, the young man who allegedly killed a healthcare executive in cold blood.
“Free Luigi!” Burr cried in one media appearance. Was he kidding? It sure wasn’t funny. Either way, it hinted at a dark transformation within him.

This week, it might have gotten worse. Burr gave a new interview to the far-Left Rolling Stone, and his comments regarding Mangione should give everyone pause.

The comedian suggested that healthcare officials took Brian Thompson’s death the wrong way. They should have considered why a maniac snuffed out the life of a husband and father, instead of beefing up their personal security.
“The response to the Luigi [Mangione] thing. It wasn’t ‘Maybe we need to look at what we’re doing if it makes some crazy person do this.’ [Healthcare executives’] response was to take their faces off the internet and get security. It’s like, you don’t think you need to examine this? You’re not the president. You’re just the CEO of a business.”
Naturally, social media is taking Burr to task better than the media ever could (or would).
