Bette Midler Flees X After Trump Victory

Far-Left actress flees platform after joking she'll drink Bleach if Trump wins

Bette Midler had a comical plan for processing this week’s election results.

…Midler posted a photo to X showing a bottle of Drano clog remover with a Post-It sticker reading “Trump Wins.” Next to it is a bottle of what looks to be Korbel champagne, with a sticker reading “Kamala Wins.”

We’ll assume it was a tongue-in-cheek post. It’s also the last message she might share on Elon Musk’s platform.

The progressive star of “Hocus Pocus” abruptly quit X, formerly known as Twitter, hours after President Donald Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris.

Bette Midler quits X

Actor Nick Searcy was among the first to notice Midler’s disappearing act. He’s that rare, right-leaning actor who doesn’t hide his political views.

Nor does Midler.

She’s been raging against Trump for years. She also shared vile messages directed at Sen. Rand Paul in recent years. She essentially cheered on the deranged neighbor who attacked the Republican Senator, causing severe injuries in the process.

Other Hollywood stars similarly raged against the election results.

Singer Cardi B shared, and then deleted, a message attacking southern states for choosing Trump.

“This is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes.”

Other liberal actors, like Rob Reiner and Mark Hamill, have yet to weigh in on the election results.

We haven’t heard the last of Midler. Stars occasionally quit X only to later return. Alec Baldwin rushes to mind. Midler may soon have a change of heart.

  1. “Hocus pocus” is a phrase invented as an insult to Catholic Christians and our faith. It’s a corruption of a phrase in our Latin liturgy.

  2. So many make promises of drinking bleach, drano, and or leaving the USA etc. but just like most democrats (Commiela), they’re liars
