Bandcamp Censors Boy George’s Pro-Israel Song
'We Will Dance Again' offers other side to Left's pro-Palestinian messaging

Don’t bother calling Jimmy Kimmel or the ACLU.
Neither the late-night talker nor the once-mighty group care about censorship when it hits anyone perceived to be on the Right.
And if you’re a pro-Israel voice, you’re on your own, too. Just ask Alyssa Rosenheck. The author of the upcoming “White. Blonde. Jew.” saw her Nashville book appearance canceled due to alleged safety concerns.
Now, Boy George is learning this depressing lesson.
The former Culture Club singer released a new song late last month, “We Will Dance Again,” that debunks the pro-Palestinian messaging against Israel. The lyrics pull no punches.
You say genocide, I say war
When you’re attacked, that’s what the army’s for
Does it get ugly? You bet it does
When I know you wanna kill
Every last one of us
Every last one of us
Every last one of us
You never mention October 7
Young girls raped against trees
Murdered brutally
For the crime of dancing
You condemn the Jews, with selective memory
Musicians holding flags, mouthing like sheep
Propaganda fuelled by the Internet feels so weak
Triggering! And fair.
The song’s release caused a commotion in the artistic community, because artists are allowed to have one specific opinion on the intractable Israeli/Palestine war.
It’s a genocide. Disagree? Shut up, bigot. He had to fire his label manager for refusing to promote the song. He pulled out of a “Jesus Christ Superstar” London production due to the chaos the song inspired.
He wouldn’t backpedal, and the Left couldn’t stop Boy George from talking. They did the next best thing. Bandcamp, a major music distributor, yanked his song off the platform.

Why was @BoyGeorge’s song #WeWillDanceAgain taken down @Bandcamp ?
This hate driven censorship must be corrected immediately. https://t.co/kCDN59XnPr

Why?
Threats? Censorship 101? Something else?
Does it matter? Censored is censored.
The song’s cancellation won’t become a cause celebre. Far from it. Still, a few artists are willing to stand up for censored Jews, including David Draiman of Disturbed fame. Will others take up the fight on Boy George’s behalf?
Don’t count on it.
The artistic community has said little about other Jewish performers being cancelled or silenced. Why start now?
Boy George is brave for speaking the truth. Many German people were complicit when the Nazis murdered millions of Jews. Anybody that does not stand with the Jews after what happened to them these last hundred years and on October 7th is complicit, and therefore, on the side of evil. There will be no excuse for being on the wrong side of history.
And, not surprisingly, the jewish elite around Europe gladly sent off their own (not so elite) to the german occupants, just to get off the hook themselves, sometimes even being paid in gold for their deeds.
That’s not unlike most of the wealthy jews in the West today; all of them banging their chest and yelling “Free Palestine!”.
Money and socisl status matter more than blood.
