‘Patriot War’ Goes Where Hollywood Won’t for 250th Birthday
Kelsey Grammer hosts patriotic series set to bow before America's huge milestone

Quick, how many new movies and TV shows will Hollywood drop between now and July 4th to honor the nation’s 250th birthday?
It doesn’t take long to count to zero.
Indie studios are filling the gap. Think “Young Washington,” the July 3 release recalling the early days of the country’s first president.
Or the re-release of “Reagan,” the tale of the nation’s 40th president. The new edition, in select theaters July 4 but expanding come September, will feature never-before-seen footage from the 2024 release. And then there’s “Star Spangled Adventures: The Movie,” an animated film honoring the nation’s founding (and its heroes).
All-American stories are coming our way, but they’re not rooted in traditional studios or TV channels. And we can add FOX Nation to the list of platforms eager to mark the nation’s milestone birthday.
Kelsey Grammer hosts “The Patriot War,” kicking off June 21 with the first three of six installments. The final three episodes will debut on June 28.
As the country celebrates 250 years, the series looks back at how General George Washington and his closest allies and friends struggled through a brutal war towards independence. Throughout the struggles he faced, Washington fights to hold together his fragile army, while others, including Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, his wife Martha Washington, and a troubled war hero named Benedict Arnold shape the outcome of the revolution.
The series presents all this history through their eyes, from the writing of the Declaration of Independence, through Valley Forge, to the Battle of Yorktown, as the Revolution is driven by ambition, loyalty, betrayal, and sacrifice. At the end of the turmoil, the United States is born.
Grammer, best known for playing Frasier Crane on three situation comedies, previously contributed to FOX Nation shows including “George: Rise of a Revolutionary,” “Kelsey Grammer’s Historic Battles for America” and “Legends & Lies”.
