‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’ Trailer Takes It to Radical Islam

The teaser for “Run Hide Fight: Infidels” hinted at a story no Hollywood studio would touch.

The film’s first trailer goes the full “Red Dawn.” That 1984 actioner found high schoolers taking up arms against a Soviet invasion.

“Wolverines!”

The film became a cult classic, a cinematic symbol of the Reagan era. Strong. Defiant. All-American.

That’s a pretty tall order for the Daily Wire+ original, hitting the streaming service Sept. 16.

No matter. We haven’t seen a movie like this from Hollywood in a very long time. The story acknowledges radical Islam as a threat to the American way of life and lets young Americans stand up against it.

Here’s the official synopsis:

When radical Islamic terrorists hijack a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce barbaric Sharia law on students and execute infidels in a makeshift caliphate, a ragtag band of red-blooded students, a security guard tired of ‘Uncle Tom’ smears, and a Delta Force vet must arm up to save their clueless peers and keep America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil.

Jonathan Majors, whose career collapsed following assault allegations from his then-girlfriend, stars as the military veteran leading the fight against the terrorists.

“That’s the American way,” he says with a snarl in the trailer.

The movie’s provocative themes connect with current headlines. One character warns that unfettered immigration has left America vulnerable to the threats seen in the film. We’re seeing the rise of DSA candidates on the Left, some of whom are increasingly comfortable with violent rhetoric.

Plus, several Democrats have cozied up to Hasan Piker, a pundit with a track record of horrifying comments.

“Infidels'” director, Kyle Rankin, also helmed the 2020 film “Run Hide Fight,” a school shooting thriller where one gutsy teen fought back against the young gunmen.

That movie featured Isabel May, now a rising star thanks to appearances in “Scream 7” and Paramount+’s “1883.”

The 2012 “Red Dawn” remake watered down the original film’s concept and changed the villains from China to North Korea. That kind of storytelling appeasement appears to be M.I.A. for “Infidels.”

We’ve already seen one major outlet all but demand that “Run Hide Fight: Infidels” be censored. Good luck. The Daily Wire will release the film exclusively to its members.
