Adam Carolla Slams Three Biggest Hoaxes of Our Age
Podcaster, Dr. Drew Pinsky call out terrible harm caused by all three
Adam Carolla’s memory is a stubborn thing.
The comedian doesn’t forget dramatic headlines, and he’s always comparing them to what he sees around him.
It’s why he knew earlier than most that the COVID-19 protocols and fear-mongering smelled funny. Or, as Carolla famously put it mid-pandemic, Dr. Anthony Fauci was “compromised.”
Carolla and his podcast co-host, Dr. Drew Pinsky revisited the pandemic and two other movements on “The Adam and Dr. Drew Show” this week.
White Supremacy and Climate Change. Oh, and the COVID-19 protocols.
“The UN has reported that entire nations are gonna be swept away by rising sea levels,” Dr. Pinsky said before reading the date of the report in question. The year 1989.
“What has caused more destruction and damage,” Carolla said of Climate Change and the “Race” issue. “The two biggest f***ing hoaxes of our time along with COVID.”

“The climate thing has f***ed up Germany and Europe and the globe. The race thing has f***ed them up, too. Now, you have a lot of Muslims there, and you have issues,” Carolla said.
The latter powers the new VOD sensation “Citizen Vigilante” with Armie Hammer.
The podcasters discussed another devious element of the hoaxes in question.
Agree or face the consequences.
“You can’t talk about things in a nuanced way,” Dr. Pinsky said. “Climate is changing. Humans may not have anything to do with it. You’re not allowed to say that. Race issues have existed, and they were awful, and that’s true. That’s it. The existence is factually so.”
“To me, the overriding evil is the silencing of discourse,” Dr. Pinsky added later. “That’s the part that’s f***ed up.” The former “Loveline” hoax recalled how COVID-19 dissenters were shadow banned or silenced on social media.
The Wall Street Journal Opinion section just produced a powerful documentary on the subject – “The Lockdown Dissidents.”
Plus, Climate Change skeptics have been deemed “deniers” in liberal circles, akin to a Holocaust denier.
It’s a pejorative meant to squash debate. And good luck having a sane, sober conversation about race that dares to question the liberal narrative.
That’s a tell that something is a hoax, Dr. Pinsky noted.
“As soon as you say, ‘you can’t talk about it,’ or you harm people by talking about it,” Dr. Pinsky said.
“Trying to shut you down probably means I do not have a lot of conviction and a lot of faith in my story,” Carolla added.
On the race front, Carolla brought up some online data points, referencing the number of black women killed by black men versus black women killed by White Supremacists. The answers don’t align with the Left’s “White Supremacy” blueprint.
At all.
“Joe Biden ran on an entire platform of White Supremacy,” Carolla cried. “The worst part? He got his bulls*** FBI director to go out and say it’s the biggest problem the country faces. Do you want the FBI director talking about a problem that doesn’t exist and saying it’s the biggest one we face? It’s insane.”
Carolla switched gears to the Legacy Media and government bodies scaring Americans about the risk COVID-19 posed to young people.
“Here’s how I knew COVID wasn’t affecting young teenagers or young people. I couldn’t find one in my neighborhood who died of COVID. All of a sudden, I knew more than Fauci,” Carolla said. “I knew what was going on just by looking around.”
That applies to the aforementioned hoaxes.
“White Supremacy. Klan. Lynchings. Look around. Seen anything? Talk to anybody? People go [to me], ‘You live in Glendale.’ I travel the country. I go everywhere … it would stand to reason that when I was playing the Comedy Whatever in Wherever, Wisconsin, just once I’d roll into town when they’re having a Klan rally.”
“Look around. If you’ve never seen it, how could it be the biggest problem this country has? I can turn on the news and see street takeovers every night. I can pick up my phone and see ‘smash and grabs’ and tons of teens rushing into malls. Can you pick up your phone and see a Klan rally?” Carolla asked. “if the answer is, ‘it’s not here,’ then it’s not here.’ You’re listening to liars. You’re not trusting your own eyes.”
The closest we may have to a genuine hate group? Those irregular, suspicious Patriot Front marches. The group, with nebulous ties to the Southern Poverty Law Center, appeared July 4 in Washington, D.C. with every member aggressively masked so we couldn’t see their faces.
Even this group is struggling to survive, despite what Biden claimed about “White Supremacy.”
Leaked chat logs, however, show that Patriot Front has struggled since roughly late 2020 to recruit new members, raise its profile, and stay financially afloat. In a conversation with Patriot Front “lieutenants,” dated Dec. 14, 2021, Rousseau reportedly wrote, “We are absolutely desperate for new people. We’ve been in the 220’s to 230’s membership rut for nearly a full year.”
That helps prove Carolla’s point. So does reality.

Not shut down. Shut Up!
Shut up. For a long time totalitarians of every stripe burned books and broke printing presses to shut up their opponents. No one reads books or owns presses any more, and piles of burning books come with historical baggage that makes them kind of a dead giveaway, so today we instead have comforting safe spaces where burnable books may not appear, where taboo words may not be uttered, sacred precincts where blasphemers tread at their peril. But it’s still just Shut Up in disguise. We have trigger warnings so that challenging ideas don’t have to be heard. We have speech codes to limit vocabulary. And then there is: Blowing whistles in your ears. Blowing air horns. Pulling fire alarms. Demonizing you and thereby delegitimizing your views. Disinviting speakers. Stealing your yard signs. Knocking off your MAGA hat. Refusing to hire or promote conservative staff, or faculty. Demonetizing. Deplatforming. Deboosting. It is all just Shut Up. Listen carefully whenever you are dealing disagreeably with a Progressive true believer. Sooner or later he will find a way to tell you to shut up.

When “covid” hit – I called it “Fauci Flu” – and the MASKS came out I posted on Facebook and every article online that the vast majority of masks were like putting chicken wire in place of screens to keep out mosquitoes and other insects! The SIZE of Fauci’s creation was so minute compare to the opening in the masks that it was ludicrous! I often asked why you had to wear a mask to get IN to a Restaurant but could take it off at your table – “Does the virus just hang out at your front door”? Then the “vaccines” that were killing people – doing that was stupid and dangerous! That’s about when I quit FB – too many ignorant people! “Climate Change” – or as I like to call it – WEATHER and SEASONS – is nothing more than a hoax! I’m old and remember when it was HOT during the SUMMER and COLD during the WINTER! Some were hotter and some were colder – all this BEFORE those murderous SUV’s! We didn’t have AC until I was 19! And don’t get me started on “white” supremacy! I graduated college with a Business degree in the early 70’s. I interviewed for a State Job and was told I didn’t “qualify” as the requirement was for a black female! So much for my “privilege”! In all my life I’ve NEVER been able to cash in on my whiteness! WHERE did I go wrong? Is there a bank or something that will reward me for my melanin deficiency? Dang it!
Excellent post! What no one alive today can recall is the winter that killed half the Pilgrims or 1816, “the year without a summer”. People have no sense of history and without knowing where we have been, we can’t know where we are, or where we are going.
