Biden had no business serving as the country’s Commander-in-Chief. That’s one of many takeaways from “Original Sin,” the tell-all tome written by CNN activist Jake Tapper.
Yes, a journalist who participated in the Biden cover up wrote the book on it post-election.

In April of 2024, a desperate Biden team sought a journalist to interview Biden and, hopefully, boost his re-election chances. Said team had been shielding Biden from most one-on-one conversations, eager to keep Americans in the dark about his decline.
His team couldn’t even stage a pretend town hall event to provide clips for the campaign. They needed someone who wouldn’t throw any hard questions his way and stick to the script. Their script.
They chose Howard Stern.
Yes, the former shock jock was now a Democrat shill who could be counted on to promote Biden, warts and all. And he did exactly as told.
No tough questions about the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, Hunter Biden’s scandalous laptop or the leader’s obvious decline. Stern didn’t bring up how Team Biden helped censor Americans on social media or worked to create a “Ministry of Truth” for the modern era.
The former free-speech warrior gave up that fight some time ago.
Instead, the self-described King of All Media clearly worked with the Biden team to put the president’s best foot forward. That’s easier said than done given Biden’s mental fog and atrocious record.
Now, that embarrassing spectacle looks even worse given the Tapper tome and others coming our way soon.

What did Stern say during the hour-long interview?
“You’re the kind of leader I love because we’re lucky to have you in the Oval Office.”
“I know you’d be a good father to the country, and I want to thank you for providing a calming, influential and organized administration.”
The Hollywood Reporter shared how the booking happened.
Executive producer Gary Dell’Abate told Stern, “Believe me, there were a lot of people who were involved in helping this booking from people inferred on all that stuff — but you know who was super helpful on this? Really, really helpful. Hillary Clinton.”
When Stern replied that he didn’t know that, Dell’Abate added, “Her people really let Biden’s people know this was a good place to be.”
The old Howard Stern might have grilled Biden on several issues, like how he weaponized the “very fine people” hoax or sparked years of crushing inflation.
Stern 1.0, a man of the people, is long gone. The newer version is a woke Useful Idiot, offering a safe space for Democrats. And they knew it at the time.
That’s even more embarrassing.
Tapper is attempting a Mea Culpa Media Tour to promote “Original Sin.” He wants to have it both ways – profiting off of the biggest presidential cover-up in modern history while ignoring his role in it.
We’re still waiting for Stern’s apology for his Pravda-like Biden interview.
One of the best YouTube comments I ever read was posted to a video of Howard Stern, 2014-ish, renting a hall to gather his entire staff and posse, to give a two-hour lecture that can be summed up as, “We (I) are no longer the populist, scrappy underdog lampooning the self-important. We (I) are now an “A’-list celebrity, and we (I) should now be acting like and associating with ‘A’-list celebrities”. (Which you categorically cannot do while making fun of them or mocking them, you can only do that by sucking up to them so they let you sit at the Cool Kidz table.)
What this commenter brilliantly and pithily said was, “This video is Howard Stern taking two hours to teach his staff how to say, “Dubbya- ENNN-BEEE-CEEE”!
Totally, TOTALLY nailed it.
Tapper is attempting a Mea Culpa Media Tour to promote “Original Sin.”
No he isn’t. Mea culpa means “my fault.” Like eight-year-olds trapped in a lie, Tapper and his co-author have twisted themselves like Chubby Checker’s pet python to blame everybody else, to make it HIS fault or YOUR fault or THEIR fault or NOBODY’s fault, anybody but Jake’s. Hey, Jake’s the VICTIM here, a little sympathy if you don’t mind. The bad guys are those other guys, the ones Jake didn’t name (out of habit or maybe respect, I guess), the WH sources he didn’t have who were mean to him, who lied to him even though Jake tried really really hard to find stuff out. Really. Credit where due, making bald-faced, outrageous, insulting lies the centerpiece of your promotional tour for a book that lies outrageously about Jake’s outrageously dishonest reporting about outrageously insulting lying is kind of marketing genius when you think about it. . Jake and his publisher couldn’t be happier. There is no such thing as bad publicity.
Whenever I hear degenerates like Stern and Flint set themselves up as champions of free speech I just role my eyes. They don’t give a toot about free speech as evidenced by Stern’s recent interview behavior. All they really want is justification for their deviant, vile lifestyle and (more strategically) the ability to slop it like social manure across the landscape. I don’t care what a person does in the privacy of their own home. But when their perversion becomes public I draw the line. I get it. The heart (and loins) want what they want. Those unmoored to morality have the right to act on said compulsions in this country. What you don’t have the right to do (or, at least, what you should have the social decency to avoid) is parade your inclinations down Main Street as a pied-piper of indecency conveniently cloaked in the blanket of “free speech.”
