Christy Martin Crushes Woke Mob’s Attack on Sydney Sweeney
Boxing pioneer has her back after media, Ruby Rose swarm 'Euphoria' star

Christy Martin isn’t one to duck a fight.
The female boxer ruled the sport for years, even gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Actress Sydney Sweeney portrays Martin in “Christy,” a new film that stumbled badly at the box office. That wasn’t the only tough news for the biopic and, more importantly, its star.
The media has been begging Sweeney to apologize for her recent American Eagle ad. The buxom star joked that she had good “jeans” in the spot, a nod to winning the genetic lottery.
The Left went wild, attacking the commercial as supporting White Supremacy. Sweeney stayed quiet throughout the imbroglio. Later, when a GQ interviewer prompted her to apologize for the ad, Sweeney refused to do anything of the kind.
That was a mild attack compared to what actress Ruby Rose said about Sweeney. Rose, who lost out on a supporting role in “Christy,” raged against the actress.
The openly lesbian Rose suggested Sweeney, without evidence, hates the LGBTQ community. Then Rose got even nastier.
“You’re a cretin and you ruined the film. Period. Christy deserved better.”
Not everyone agrees with that assessment, including the real Christy Martin.
“I’ve always been a fighter. My life reflected that in every way and now I fight for others. The past few days I have seen some people attack my friend Sydney Sweeney.”
Syd not only worked her ass off for this film, she worked her ass off for me. For my story. For so many others suffering in silence. So I want to be clear about who Syd is. She is my friend and ally!”
I like this Christy Martin.
