Adam Carolla on Obama: ‘All He Does Is Race Hustle’
Podcaster laments the good the first black president could have done for U.S.

Jesse Jackson, Jr. made his intentions clear regarding his famous father’s funeral.
No politics, please.
Three Democratic presidents ignored his plea.
Presidents Bill Clinton, Joe Biden and Barack Obama spoke at the ceremony honoring Jesse Jackson’s momentous life. All three used the bully pulpit to either attack President Donald Trump or insult their own country at Reverend Jesse L. Jackson’s Peoples Celebration of Life and Homegoing Services March 6.
The late leader’s son wasn’t pleased.
“Yesterday I listened for several hours of three United States presidents who do not know Jesse Jackson.”
Nor was comedian Adam Carolla, who didn’t hold back while discussing the funeral and Obama’s post-presidency with conservative talker Jesse Kelly.
“He’s like the quiet race hustler,” Carolla said of Obama, who routinely made race-based matters worse both during and after his presidency.
Just ask his “son,” Trayvon Martin.
“He’s not big and blathering. He seems calculated, and also he speaks in a cadence where you go, ‘this guy’s got wisdom. This guy knows what he’s talking about.’ But all he does is race hustle, beat up this country and lie.
“He’s the first black president. It could have gone so differently,” Carolla continued. “He really could have been impactful, a man in his position … he and his wife, who’s worse than him, all they do is sit around and bad mouth this country and tell us how bad it is.”
Adam Carolla: Obama is a Michelin-rated word salad chef.@adamcarolla “Obama never says anything; he just says junk, but it comes out in a way that’s much more hard to detect and much more palatable.
He’s an idiot and a race hustler, but he’s skillful that way.” pic.twitter.com/Ob9EDZyz3B

“It’s historically disappointing, because he could have really been an agent for change. He could have said, ‘Look, every country has a past and we all have our sins, and we don’t forget it. But I was a two-time president, you can’t say this isn’t the greatest country in the world.’ But he doesn’t miss an opporutnity to bash this country and talk about what a piece of s*** it is.”
He then played a snippet of Obama’s funeral speech.
“Each day we wake up to some new assault on our Democratic institutions,” Obama said at the funeral, going on to suggest the current administration diminishes some Americans over others. No further clarification was offered.
Of course.
“He just causes more anger and division and then claims the other side is causing the anger and division,” Carolla said.

In June of 2015, a white guy named Dylan Roof went to a bible study service at one of the oldest black churches in the South, in Charleston, South Carolina. There he shot and killed nine black folks, a horrific crime. The very next day, Roof was tracked down in North Carolina, arrested, and has since been tried and convicted. At the same time, local leaders, black and white, organized peaceful demonstrations to mourn the loss and to pray for peace, . Black folks and white folks literally joined hands and marched in the streets of the cradle of the Confederacy, demonstrating emphatically how far race relations had advanced. Mr. Obama showed up a few days later to eulogize the fallen, but gave short shrift to the enormous progress that had been made, even in the Carolinas. He famously sang part of “Amazing Grace.” Sadly, he didn’t have the grace to stop there. He continued; instead of celebrating the successes literally incarnated in his Presidency, instead of reminding black folks that their destinies and futures were their own, he brought up the Confederate flag, Jim Crow, past injustices, black youth in prison, lingering poverty, etc. etc , the whole, tired litany of grievances. He wanted to think of himself as a change agent, but he couldn’t bring himself to change, or even to recognize change and applaud and emphasize it, even though he had taken full advantage of the century of changes that had preceded him. Both he and his wife saw and seized every affirmative action lever they could reach. Good for them, but don’t cry hunger with a loaf of bread under your arm. I respectfully submit that had they NOT been black, neither Barry nor Michelle would have made it into Harvard, let alone the White House. They achieved what they achieved because there is an American Dream to pursue, and for decades being black has made the pursuit easier, not harder. Knuckle down, don’t screw up, learn some manners and some grammar, get married before you make babies, the prescription is pretty straightforward and has been followed by most every successful migrant and minority since the 16th century. And note that the Obama children were obliged by attentive, present parents to follow the same prescription. Lots of people recall Obama’s Trayvon Martin remark, “he could have been my son.” No, he couldn’t. No more than Malia or Sasha could have twerked in spandex on a rap video.
I work from home and earn a respectable $6k a week, which is amazing considering that a year ago I was unemployed in a terrible economy. I always give God praise for honoring me with these rules, and now it’s my duty to practice anticipatory compassion and share it with everyone. Likewise,

Barry always pulling out the claim that – When they go low we go high – which to me is going low in itself. Not the classy guy he is always perceived to be. Don’t forget all those photos of him subtly (not that subtly though) holding up his middle finger. Plus giving the middle finger to Jesse Jackson’s son by ignoring his request to keep politics out of the service for his father.
