‘The View’ Finally Went Too Far

Unhinged Sunny Hostin suggest ICE agents are getting what's coming to them

It’s not funny anymore.

Conservatives and sane viewers alike have laughed at “The View” for some time.

  • The crazed conspiracies
  • The loony interviews
  • The fear-mongering on steroids

The funniest part? Co-host Sunny Hostin tried to lob softballs at then-presidential candidate Kamala Harris, who proceeded to whiff at the question in epic fashion.

More hilarity ensued, especially when Hostin said she regretted the Q&A because it hurt Harris’ campaign.

More recently, the laughter has begun drying up.

Why aren’t the show’s hosts decrying the rise of far-Left violence, for example? And while it’s funny that co-host Whoopi Goldberg says the gig is hellish, the other hosts are veering toward incitement.

Enter Hostin. Again.

The show brought up more attacks against ICE agents for the act of doing their jobs and collaring illegal immigrants, some of whom have been accused of heinous crimes.

Naturally, Team “View” is against law and order, especially during President Donald Trump’s administration. What Hostin said about the violence, though, pushed past conventional commentary.

Was she justifying it? Judge for yourself, courtesy of the invaluable Newsbusters.

If [ICE agents] would do their jobs the way that I think they should be doing their jobs, which is unmasked without disappearing people from the streets, I don’t think that the public would feel as endangered. Because if someone approaches my loved one who is undocumented with a mask, how do I know that they’re actual law enforcement and how do I know they work for ICE? So, that’s one thing I’ll say…

The threat seemed to solidify further when she declared that “in my world, if you mask yourself because you don’t want to be seen…there will be a reckoning for some of the actions that law enforcement, actual law enforcement have done!”

We’ve gone from comically unhinged to suggesting violence IS the answer. The takeaway? There are zero grown-ups in charge at the ABC talk show.
