Jim Caviezel doesn’t read off the Hollywood script on the promotional circuit.
Yes, that’s the understatement of the year.
The “Passion of the Christ” star works steadily in the industry despite his reluctance to toe the company line. Now, talking to select press for his new film “Sound of Freedom,” Caviezel has taken the shackles entirely off.
That means he’s not promoting the progressive cause du jour.

The star mocked the mainstream media for telling lie after lie after lie.

He decried sexually explicit Pride displays where children are routinely present, another liberal Hollywood no-no.
The actor also dubbed the Academy Awards as the “Irrelevant Show” for ignoring films like “The Passion of the Christ” (the film earned three minor nominations – Best Score, Best Makeup and Best Cinematography). He even suggested his new film won’t get the acclaim it deserves.
The fact-based “Sound of Freedom,” from Angel Studios, follows a federal agent (Caviezel) who quits his job to save a young girl from child traffickers.
Caviezel, who played Edmond Dantes in the big-screen adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’ classic text, pushed back behind-the-scenes.

“They wanted me to remove ‘God’ from all the script. True story … what happened to God? ‘God will give me justice,‘” he said, reciting a famous quote from the novel.
“I had to say, no, I can’t do this,'” he said. The response?
“Disney said, ‘oh, so you’re one of those?’ I said, ‘one of those what? One of those who re-write Alexandre Dumas? One of those who re-write Shakespeare?’ because that’s essentially what you did,” the actor claimed of the exchange. “So I held my ground and by God they backed off.”
The actor mentioned the story, in part, to tell other Christian artists to stand up for their beliefs in an industry that may be wary of them.
“We’ve got to be strong Christians like that, to hold the ground when you have to, to say, ‘we’re not buying that product anymore,'” he said, likely alluding to recent, right-leaning boycotts of products from Target and Bud Light.
Jesus Christ (remember him?) said that YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. He then told his followers what that meant in John 3:: 3-8. Two components, you must be born of the water in BAPTISM and you must be born of the Spirit in Spiritual Baptism. Period. Not only did he provide the example of WHAT BAPTISM IS by GOING DOWN INTO THE WATER AND BEING BAPTIZED BY JOHN THE BAPTIST , but he also showed you that BAPTISM IS ONLY THROUGH IMMERSION by causing a BODY OF WATER TO APPEAR IN THE DESERT so that Philip could baptize the ETHIOPIAN EUNUCH in Acts 8:36.
In the Christian faith BAPTISM IS ONLY DONE IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST .There are over THREE THOUSAND BAPTISMS in the New Testament with most of them taking place on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2. after Peter instructed the crowd to REPENT and be BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
THREE THOUSAND PEOPLE ALL BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST not one of them baptized in the fraudulent baptism of the pedo church.
And so that you whiners and “one verse charlies” couldn’t LIE and pretend “it’s all about faith so it doesn’t matter HOW you are baptized”, the Apostles SPECIFICALLY showed you themselves baptizing the three groups of CALLED SOULS into reconciliation with the Lord. The frist group was on the Day of Pentecost and were the JEWS , this was because the scripture said “He came unto his own and His own received him not”. John 1:11 THEY were baptized in Jesus name as seen above. They also told you that there is only ONE LORD, ONE FAITH AND ONE BAPTISM but you believe in 3 LORDS, MULTIPLE DENOMINATIONS AND ANY OLD BAPTISM WILL SUFFICE!!! To your peril .
The NEXT GROUP that had to be reconciled were the gentiles so that the other part of that sentiment could also be fulfilled were the GENTILES because the next scripture said
John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
So in Acts 10 Peter is given the job of preaching to the gentiles. Long story short God gives him a dream to look for a centurion named Cornelius. When Peter preaches to them GOD GIVES THEM THE SAME INDWELLING OF THE HOLY GHOST with the EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES THAT HE GAVE TO HIS APOSTLES IN ACTS 2:4 ,something ELSE that the CC doesn’t teach because God won’t give it to them! In fact, the CC tell you that speaking in tongues is DEMONIC!
In Acts 10:44-48 They were ALSO baptized in Jesus name.
The third group were the followers of John who unlike the CC actually had a GOD SANCTIONED BAPTISM that as only for a short time until Jesus came on the scene and John told his followers of the temporary nature of his baptism in Matthew 3:11, where he also promised them that Jesus would BAPTIZE THEM WITH THE HOLY GHOST, another thing not taught in the CC. So in Acts 19:1-6 Paul encounters some of John’s followers , the first thing he asks them is if THEY had received the Holy Ghost, when they answered that they hadn’t even heard of it, HE IMMEDIATELY KNEW the problem was that their BAPTISM had not been UPDATEDTO BAPTISM IN JESUS’ NAME YET!

As you can see when they had not received God’s Spirit that Jesus spoke of here , John 7:38-39, John 14:26 and John 15:26, Paul knew the problem was not with the faith but rather with their OBEDIENCE to BAPTISM IN THE ONLY NAME THAT CAN SAVE YOU.

Jim Caveizel is not a Christian neither is ANY Catholic. God has to confirm your faith by giving you HIS SPIRIT because without it, YOU DO NOT BELONG TO JESUS CHRIST. PERIOD. Doesn’t matter what you THINK you “believe”! Romans 8:9

Keith, I just want to remind you that Baptism is not required for salvation. Confession of sin and repentance (turning away from sin) by mouth and trusting, believing, and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing that He is the Son of God , bled and died for the forgiveness of sin, was buried and risen from the grave on the third day, conquering the grave and death, allowing us resurrection from our grave through acceptance , belief, and a life of obedience to His Word is all that is required of salvation through prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, making these confessions verbally. Baptism is the very next step and is commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ to represent death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and our’s also and to identify us as a follower and believer of Jesus Christ. Baptism does not have a part in salvation. It’s the first act of obedience following salvation. I also would be very careful in condemning people’s souls without fully knowing them personally. I agree with you that the Catholic Church is a false church. Their church doctrine does not match with scripture, but I do believe there are true believers in the Catholic Church. They are being deceived, but some are truly devoted to Jesus Christ and His word and many have left the Catholic Church after reading their Bibles and learning for themselves the true teachings of Jesus Christ. I just wanted to be clear in this for everyone’s benefit. I would encourage Catholic believers to really start reading the New Testament scriptures starting with the book of John followed by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. One more point I want to make to Catholic believers. Baptism comes after personal salvation. Infant baptism is a false teaching. It does not provide a way to heaven. All babies and children, until the age of accountability, all go to heaven if they die beforehand. Please read the Words of Jesus Christ. He is the final authority and He is head of His church and churches are to follow His ways, His doctrines, His teachings. If any, including churches, teach any other doctrine or add to other than God’s Word, it is heresy and a false deception of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Any church is not to be followed in the name of Jesus Christ that creates it’s own belief system and does not follow the teachings and Word of Jesus Christ. Just being baptized and attending church and repeating prayers does not grant you salvation. It’s a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, not confessing to a priest or any other human being, but confessing to the Lord Jesus Christ where you are and as you are. Confessing you are a sinner and asking His forgiveness. Repenting of your sin( to turn away from). Confessing your faith, belief, and trust in Him as the true living Holy Son of God, who was bruised and bled and died on the cross for your sin, was buried and rose again the third day being resurrected, seen by His disciples and many witnesses, then ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Every individual must receive Christ and His salvation personally and humbly. The church, your priest, your pastor can’t do it for you. You must do this on your own followed by scriptural baptism. READ YOUR BIBLES. So many false/fake preachers/churches today. Preachers Teachers that sound honest and truthful, but they are deceiving people into hell. It is SO IMPORTANT for believers to KNOW THE BIBLE as it is written. Humble yourself and pray and receive Jesus Christ now for eternal salvation/eternal life, then be scripturally baptized in a Bible teaching/believing church, a church that preaches/teaches straight from the Bible. Avoid the mega churches. They are deceptive. Pray after you receive salvation and God will show you the way. Get started ASAP before Satan tries to confuse you. Find a church home. Visit different ones, preferably the smaller ones with one pastor and read read read your Bible. AMEN!!
This 2002 film was fantastic, and without the spiritual aspect of God being fundamental to it, it could not have claimed to be a solid re-telling of the Dumas classic. Good for you, Jim, you undoubtedly saved this movie! Disney should have been thanking you.
The Count of Monte Cristo was a great movie in part because it stuck to the source material. Good on Jim for making them do so.
Mediocre film and that’s why it had a very bad international box office. Being rejected by the rest of the world.
The 1979 French adaptation with Jacques Weber is far superior to this fanfic full of historical anachronisms and socio-cultural inaccuracies.
Jacques who? And who hasn’t heard of the world wide blockbuster? Tell was the Count bi?
$75.5 mil box office on a $35 mil budget. Sounds pretty successful to me.
Disney used to make the kind of movies that families wanted to watch. You know, the “customers”.
Now Disney makes the kind of movies that they would want to watch. If you want to watch them to, great. If you don’t, go eff yourselves.
In other words, they’re adopting the same business model the news media now goes by.
