Far-Left ‘One Battle After Another’ to Open After Deadly ICE Attack

Leonardo DiCaprio film glorifies open border radicals who bomb buildings

Apple TV+ just yanked a provocative new series due to current headlines.

“The Savant” stars Jessica Chastain as an investigator rooting out violent White Supremacist groups. Apple made the move following Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

“After careful consideration, we have made the decision to postpone ‘The Savant’ … We appreciate your understanding and look forward to releasing the series at a future date.”

The show was set to debut Sept. 26.

Now, a new film that glorifies political violence is about to hit theaters following a fresh attack on an ICE facility.

“One Battle After Another,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, casts the Oscar winner as an open borders radical attempting to save his daughter from a racist government official (Sean Penn).

Director Paul Thomas Anderson’s film glorifies violence in the name of social justice, specifically defying immigration laws. The radical group in question blows up buildings, shoots security guards and justifies violence from start to finish.

No one on screen regrets their actions or has a change of heart.

Government soldiers are portrayed as cruel, rule-breaking and murderous. They aren’t labeled as ICE, but the context is clear. Penn’s character is cartoonishly evil, eager to join a secret society of White Supremacists.

The film will officially start screening tomorrow, and the timing couldn’t be worse.

An anti-ICE sniper just shot three people at a Dallas ICE facility, killing two detainees in the process. The gunman later took his own life as law enforcement approached.

Representatives for the FBI at a Wednesday morning press conference in Dallas said that preliminary investigations uncovered anti-ICE messaging on bullet rounds found near the shooter.

The shooting reportedly occurred as ICE officers were transferring detainees into the facility.

Will Warner Bros. delay “One Battle After Another?” The show must go on, and it should. Even Chastain disagreed with “The Savant’s” delay.

The same should apply here.

It’s still stunning to see such a morally warped production from a major studio hitting theaters at a time when ICE officials are under regular attack.

The government has allowed ICE members to mask up to protect their identities following the upswing in violence. Democrats, by and large, hope to reverse that policy.

Earlier this year, anti-ICE protesters hurled bricks at agents during a Calif.-based protest. They also burned police vehicles.

ICE raid protests turn destructive in Los Angeles

Two months ago, protesters “punched, pepper-sprayed and ambushed” ICE agents in San Francisco. Four agents suffered injuries in the melee.

Will the film’s stars (DiCaprio, Benicio del Toro, Penn and Regina Hall) denounce the violence?

More importantly? Will any journalist press them on the matter?

Editor’s Note: It’s a brutal time to be an independent journalist, but it’s never been more necessary given the sorry state of the corporate press. If you’re enjoying Hollywood in Toto, I hope you’ll consider leaving a coin (or two) in our Tip Jar.

  1. If you recognize the people you root for in unnamed movie villains, that says more about your side than it does the movie. You really said, “well if it walks like a white supremacist and acts like a racist, it must be ICE” without anyone forcing you to.

  2. Now, I’m starting to see why this movie has a $130 million-$175 million budget. This movie is just a pro-open borders movie in disguise. For shame, Paul Thomas Anderson.

  3. Leo has a giant wall around his house and a 24-hour-security-service. I checked.
Facts are fun. Hypocrisy……..not so much.
