Media Tries to Cancel Nate Bargatze for Craziest Reason
Squeaky clean comic under fire for innocent photo weaponized by the Left

Nate Bargatze’s big-screen debut didn’t crush the box office as expected.
The film is stalled at roughly $17 million, despite the comedian’s gargantuan fame as a road-touring comic. He’s the top comedy attraction in the country, and it’s not even close.
Yet some media outlets are eager to cancel the star, woke mind virus style, for a completely different reason. He took a picture with the wrong people.
And, by wrong, we mean members of the Trump administration and a famous actress.
MAGANate Bargatze
I used to enjoy Chick-fil-A, and then I learned that the owners are bigots and I haven’t eaten there in 25 years.
I used to enjoy @natebargatze, but then I learned that he thinks fascism is funny.

Now, that kind of reaction is normal on social media. How select news outlets shared the news … isn’t.
You might say it’s a bit fascist.
The Daily Beast, as far Left as a publication can lean, published a savage piece attacking Bargatze for the photo in question.
“‘I’m Not Political’ Comedian Pictured Grinning With MAGA Royalty,” read one of several Beast articles on the subject. Said subject, by the way, is a comedian showing up at a fancy event with politicians and UFC types in attendance.
That’s it. That’s the crime.
Bargatze’s act is as clean and inoffensive as possible. His jokes couldn’t hurt a fly, and that’s on purpose. He brings people together with humor, and he’s become very rich as a result.
Still, in today’s media landscape, any suggestion that a star is right-leaning opens them up to media attacks. That explains the Beast attack mode in progress.
Other Beast articles claimed the photos proved the comedian was “MAGA.” The horror, the horror.
Except Bargatze never gets political on stage … or off. Some MAGA.
The Huffington Post also weighed in on the non-troversy.
“He went last night to enjoy a sport he loves,” a rep for the comedian told HuffPost after Cheryl Hines published the photo.https://t.co/WiII7gjtz9

Other outlets piled on, too.
Parade Magazine picked out random, angry fans to build on the narrative.
Many took to Threads to criticize his appearance at the event, with several expressing surprise that he attended.
Many? How many?
It also explains why Team Bargatze had to respond to the media pressure.
“Nate is family friendly entertainment first,” a representative for Bargatze told HuffPost in an email Monday. “He is not political nor is anything he produces. He is also a huge UFC fan and has been since before it became political.”
HuffPo also scoured the comic’s social media posts to find a “gotcha” message proving he’s MAGA.
It came up empty.
His camp’s explanation won’t be enough. The Legacy Media will slowly turn on Bargatze moving forward. His other crime? He appeared on “Fox and Friends.” Does it matter that he dropped by “The View,” too, despite it being a haven for conspiratorial craziness?
No. The real crime is any association with the Right, or more specifically, Team Trump. We’ll let the great Bridget Phetasy have the last word.
