Glamour Mag Melts Down Over Taylor Swift Super Bowl Boos
Women's outlet pens two separate stories to share its outrage
Taylor Swift heard an unusual sound on Super Bowl Sunday.
The pop superstar is used to crowd adulation following her globe-trotting Eras Tour. There’s no bigger singer on the planet.
Period.
On Sunday, Swift earned a cascade of boos from the masses instead.
Swift’s Super Bowl appearance in New Orleans to support Kansas City Chief’s Travis Kelce sparked the boo brigade. That, coupled with subsequent cheers for President Donald Trump, sparked digital cries of misogyny.
Glamour magazine led the parade. The far-Left outlet took the series of events poorly.
“Why Taylor Swift Getting Booed at the Super Bowl was Even More Chilling Than You Think,” read the headline.
Not just chilling … “more” chilling. The article feels like a post-Nov. 5 temper tantrum.
That the Super Bowl, one of the biggest cultural events in the country, has been reclaimed by Trump and the type of toxic masculinity he appears to be the beacon of.
Yes, a major football event might be a tad masculine. Nailed it! Next up? Outrage over a UFC title fight for its violence and lack of empathy.
The author blames misogyny for Swift’s rude greeting, but the events in question betray that argument. The Jumbotron showed other female stars, like Anne Hathaway and Lady Gaga, too.
And no boos.
A sane soul would make the obvious connection. The media and the NFL have paraded Swift in front of us for far too long. We wanna watch football, not a celebrity love connection. What was adorable at first has become a bore. NFL loyalists crave football, not fashion updates.
The crowd got a chance to vent at long last. They paid the exorbitant ticket price and deserve to be heard.

Next, the scribe attacked President Trump for trolling Swift on Truth Social. To be fair, Swift came out aggressively against Trump during the heat of the presidential campaign.
She bullied him first, right?
The essay wraps exactly as one expects.
Not only does it feel like Trump and his ilk want Swift out of football, it’s like they want to return our entire country to a time when they were in control, had all the power, and could say whatever they wanted without repercussions.
I guess the scribe missed this feminist moment from Trump’s first month back in office.
Heartwarming moment as Trump brings kids up to signing ceremony for executive order banning transgenderism in women’s sports: “You ready? We’ll do a good job. I want to make this a really good signature. Because this is a big one, right?” pic.twitter.com/S9kokrCl0L

A separate Glamour article on BooGate, because one wasn’t enough, also played the “M” card.
So, what exactly is the crowd’s beef with Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl? Is it just that she’s a powerful woman and football fans find that threatening? Is it because her fans largely tend to be women and the NFL’s audience often skews male? Because I’ve racked my brain and misogyny is the only plausible explanation I can come up with. And if that’s the vibe, what’s the incentive for any of Swift’s legions of global fans, or people who care about misogyny in general, to keep tuning in to the NFL?
If these “new” NFL fans fell in love with the sport they’ll stick around. If they tuned in each Sunday just to watch Swift’s reaction shots they may go back to other pursuits.
That’s not misogyny. It’s Fandom 101.
Very simple. Crowd was overwhelmingly pro-POTUS. She was a bully who mocked Trump and his supporters. Also, her and Kelce are just annoying. Being pro-President and pro-football without annoying distractions, the fans cheered the President and booed the bully princess.
Do these people know anything about sports?
The left is whining that we are tired of their malarkey. Tough on them.
Maybe the only people more rabid than the culture warriors in our country are the sports fans. Everybody should call off the dogs on this one. That Swift was booed while others were not isn’t indicative of some culture shift or big statement. It was clear that Eagles fans outnumbered Chiefs fans at the game by a decent margin (witness the boos for Chiefs when they took the field, which are almost never audible at a Super Bowl). Swift is strongly identified with Travis Kelce and the Chiefs. Eagles fans booed her as the enemy. That’s it. There’s no other story there.
Paraphrasing President Obama, exposure has consequences.
Football fans watch male football players. They don’t want to see a female bystander hogging the spotlight. Swift, her fans, and biased journalists should get the hint and split.
Or, since most of the people there were Philly fans, they see her as a traitor for being a Pa native who used to wear Eagles gear and now sleeps with the enemy. Philly fans have a well earned reputation for being the nastiest in the country.
Journalists should stay impartial. That piece in Glamour was an outright smear of Trump and THAT is why nobody likes little miss Not-too-swift anymore. She backed Kamala Harris, played the libtard game, and now she’s getting burned. Good. Thank GOD her bubble gum music appeals to those too young to voteù
