Why Won’t Media Outlets Call Out Rosie O’Donnell, Jane Fonda?
Feminist stars spew crazed conspiracy theories while reporters nod along
Variety got a glimpse of Rosie O’Donnell on late-night TV and demanded more.
The site dubbed her August gig guest hosting for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “TV magic.” Here’s some of that “magic.”

Magic, apparently, is subjective. So is common sense.
The Rosie O’Donnell we see today is a far cry from the phony “Queen of Nice” shtick she once peddled on daytime TV.
In short, she doesn’t sound well. She spouts insane conspiracy theories, dubbed a respected Jewish journalist a “Nazi” with zero proof and literally fled her home country after a president she didn’t like became president again.
She returned to the States when career opportunities beckoned, though.
She previously left ABC’s “The View” not once but twice, suggesting she doesn’t play well with others in a professional sense.
Not only did Variety ignore all of the above. The far-Left site wants more, more more, citing the need to break late-night TV’s “glass ceiling.”
Tell that to Joan Rivers, Chelsea Handler, Samantha Bee, Taylor Tomlinson, Wanda Sykes, Amber Ruffin and Lilly Singh.
O’Donnell appears to be getting worse. Consider this latest, fact-free screed:

And then there’s Jane Fonda.
The Oscar winner will forever be known for siding with America’s enemy during the Vietnam War. Even she later, much later, admitted to the error of her ways. Yet she just keeps talking.
And that’s fine, on paper. It’s what she’s saying lately that should give everyone pause.
This week alone, she insisted that “Tech Bros” “want to live forever” and are “killing the rest of us.”
“…Because these guys can’t have babies, they’ll create robots. That’ll be their babies. And they’ll just turn the rest of us into tradwives, who have a lot of babies too.”
Fonda is 88 and appears to be in good physical health. Mentally, that’s another matter.
Either way, responsible media outlets should be calling stars out for their deranged commentary. If a comedian tells the “wrong” joke, or an actor shares a right-leaning view, the media collectively skewers them.
Yet when O’Donnell and Fonda share the wildest theories, they’re ignored or treated as sages. Variety might want Fonda to have her own late-night show, too, at this rate.
Madness.
