Revealed: ABC’s Far-Left Activism Isn’t New at All

Why would ABC allow “The View” to spew unhinged conspiracy theories week after week?

It’s a news commentary show, after all, and shouldn’t a broadcast TV network have standards (if not some shame?)

Except ABC apparently has no qualms with what the “View” hosts share.

The same holds true for ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” It’s a comedy show, not a news program, so it’s far less consequential than “The View.” The showcase still allows both Kimmel and his co-hosts to spread sizable misinformation without consequences.

When ABC suspended Kimmel for a week last year over his Charlie Kirk lie it proved the exception to the rule.

Why? It’s simple. Politics.

The powers that be at ABC want to spread a progressive message far and wide. And, if said message isn’t remotely truthful but attacks the GOP, so be it.

Is there another explanation?

And, as it turns out, this corporate groupthink isn’t new.

Director Cyrus Nowrasteh (“The Stoning of Soriah M.”) shared a chilling example of ABC’s far-Left practices on “The Mark Joseph Show.” The podcast let Nowrasteh share his remarkable career, one that includes the recent “Sarah’s Oil” feature.

He’s had plenty of successes, and “The Path to 9/11” was perhaps his most notable achievement. The 2006 miniseries captured the events leading up to the terror attacks that took place nearly 25 years ago.

The project had blame to spread on both sides, but a particular element got the director in trouble. He showed that President Bill Clinton had the chance to take out Osama bin Laden but declined.

It’s a key reason the era’s “Clintonistas” came after him prior to the film’s release. 

Hard.

“My phone rang a lot and they weren’t friendly calls,” Nowrasteh told Joseph. “‘We’re gonna get you … You’re a dead man … how could you make all this stuff up,'” he said of the content. “It was MoveOn.org and the Pink group… a number of far-Left groups at the time.”

He also confirmed that someone released his address on line. 

“I got a little gift in my mailbox,” he said, but he wouldn’t share more.

Joseph then asked how he could catch up with “The Path to 9/11” today.

He can’t. Nor can anyone else. ABC only showed the miniseries once, and it hasn’t been re-aired since. What’s worse? There’s no way to stream the title or buy it on Blu-ray or DVD.

“To this day, ABC is censoring your movie?” Joseph asked. 

“Yup.”

Citizens United even made a documentary about the censorship.

“This is part of a coordinated effort by the Clintons to cleanse history,” said Andrew Breitbart in the film.

“The Path to 9/11” remains hidden by ABC for 20 years, and that’s despite generating big ratings during its only telecast and earning seven Emmy nominations.

Yes, that’s the same Disney spewing consistently far-Left messaging today via “The View” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
