Media’s War Against J.K. Rowling Will Never End
Author's common-sense stance has scribes attacking her, 'Harry Potter'

John Lithgow got it right.
The actor admitted he’s been stalked by a particular line of questioning ever since he joined HBO Max’s “Harry Potter” series. And, the 80-year-old said, reporters will pursue it as long as he lives.
What line of questioning? How can you star in a series inspired by J.K. Rowling, a progressive who doesn’t align with some elements of the trans agenda?
Lithgow dutifully slammed Rowling in an interview, but that won’t stop the questions from coming.
John Lithgow says J.K. Rowling’s anti-trans views are “inexplicable” and “people insisted I walk away” from playing Dumbledore in HBO’s #HarryPotter but “I chose not to do that.”

Now, imagine how Rowling feels.
The “Harry Potter” creator has been hounded by the far-Left and the Legacy Media, but we repeat ourselves, for disagreeing with some aspects of trans activism starting back in 2020.
Now, with the “Harry Potter” trailer generating massive traffic – “277 million organic (non-paid) views across platforms in its first 48 hours,” according to Deadline.com, the attacks are ramping up.
The Verge, hardly The New York Times but a long-running news platform, joined the savage Rowling crowd with this op-ed.
There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series: J.K. Rowling has made it abundantly clear that she will continue using her fortune to harm transgender people.
The rest, alas, is behind a paywall.
Andrew Garfield stumbled, badly, over the Rowling question. And he’s not even cast in the new series. He simply watched some of the previous “Harry Potter” films and uncorked a tapestry of Virtue Signals.
He refused to even say Rowling’s name aloud, a ghoulish nod to Harry Potter’s sworn enemy, Voldemort.
Media outlets have been pouncing on Rowling for six years now, and the latest batch of “Potter” news allowed them to revisit their grudges. For them, it’s never over until she bends the woke knee.
This headline from the far-Left Variety speaks volumes:
J.K. Rowling Says ‘I’m So Happy’ With HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ Series Right After Celebrating the Olympics for Banning Trans Women From Female Events
The anti-Rowling bias drips from this Men’s Journal story on Garfield’s comments.
Garfield’s comments came amid renewed scrutiny of Rowling following her response to a recent International Olympic Committee policy to limit female sports categories to biological females. Rowling referenced the policy in a post on X, reiterating her criticism of the Paris 2024 Olympics and sharing a photo of the Algerian boxer and gold medalist, Imane Khelif, who is not transgender and has always competed in women’s events.
Khelif also has male chromosomes. Seems an important fact, no?
The best news for Rowling? The “Harry Potter” series will be the year’s biggest TV event. The trailer views mirror the excitement for the saga, and Rowling has had a hand in making the show as authentic to her vision as possible.
She’ll never stop getting pummeled by the press. And, it appears, another generation is about to meet a certain boy wizard who helped countless children love reading.
The gender cult is a fundamentalist religion. Fundamentalist religions have no room for subtlety or nuance. It’s either black or white. Zero or one.
The climate cult is much the same.
