Michael Rapaport Slams Mamdani, Wife for Vile Oct. 7 Views

Actor/comedian shows different side to his brash persona along the way

There’s one thing you can count on from Michael Rapaport.

The actor/podcaster never holds back. He slathers Big Apple trash talk atop his opinions, be it the latest sports news or the Middle East crisis.

It’s why he’s become one of the strongest voices for the state of Israel. Love him or hate him, you won’t see any punches pulled.

Remember what he previously called President Donald Trump during the leader’s first term?

Yet when disturbing news came out of his Manhattan ‘hood, Rapaport did something unexpected. He dialed down the heat. And, as a result, his admonition of New York City’s first couple hit even harder.

Rama Duwaji, the wife of New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani, has been caught “liking” many incendiary social media posts tied to Israel. Some are garden-variety views from the far Left, including claims that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

The worst posts, though, are breathtaking.

One post dubbed the rampant sexual assaults that took place on Oct. 7 as a “hoax” that was “fabricated” in the press.

Tell that to the survivors.

Screams Before Silence

The Free Press found dozens more examples of Duwaji approving of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israeli comments.

Rapaport fired back today via his Facebook account.

October 7, 2023 showed the world the depths of human evil. Israel was attacked. Women were raped and murdered. Children and men were slaughtered. People were kidnapped and dragged into tunnels.
Most of the world was horrified.

But not everyone.

Some people celebrated. Not because they misunderstood what happened, but because they hate Jews. Strip away the slogans, the hashtags, the theatrics — and that’s what’s left.

Among those cheering the brutality was the wife of New York’s current mayor, Zohran Mamdani, Rama Duwaji, who “liked” posts celebrating the massacre.

And the mayor’s defense?

“She is the love of my life. She is a very private person. She holds no public office.”

Apparently applauding the slaughter of civilians is now considered a private activity. And in some political circles, loving someone who cheers terrorism isn’t a moral dilemma.

It’s just called being progressive.

The context makes matters worse.

Mayor Mamdani’s anti-Jewish views were suspected long before his 2025 election victory. He infamously posed with an unindicted co-conspirator from 1993’s World Trade Center bombing, rapped an ode to a group that funded terrorists and vowed to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he step foot in New York City.

Now, we know what his wife thinks of the state of Israel and Jews in general.

You won’t hear anyone speak out against the Mayor or his wife next Sunday during the Oscars ceremony. Not a chance.

No lectures. No pins.

Rapaport knows that all too well. He’s seen this play out before within his Hollywood circle.
