Late Night Won’t Touch Somali Scandal, So …

Indie content creators rush in, satirize Minnesota's massive child care debacle

Stephen Colbert and fellow late-night hosts are taking a well-deserved break from twisting the truth.

The Christmas/New Year’s Day holidays often mean late-night shows air reruns before new episodes start the first week in January.

Nothing unusual there.

What will be fascinating, though, is how these hard-Left propagandists grapple with the massive Minnesota day care scandal. The Legacy Media has done all it can to suppress the matter, but an intrepid YouTuber named Nick Shirley knocked on some doors and discovered what appears to be massive fraud within the state’s Somali community.

Various versions of Shirley’s video have amassed north of 100 million views on social media. And growing.

So how will our Truth to Power™ satirists treat the shocking news? They’ll likely either ignore it or do what some media outlets like CNN have attempted.

Spin, spin spin … and/or attack Shirley, not those who are allegedly behind the scandal. Indie content creators would rather mock the latter.

So, before one of the Jimmys or Stephen can attempt to deflect from the scandal, the following X users are tackling the matter head on.

And, finally, a social media used Sora to generate a faux toy commercial tied to the scandal. It’s another reason Hollywood should fear A.I. – it empowers everyday citizens to satirize headlines that late-night hosts likely won’t.
