Hollywood Honors Renee Good, Ignores Hundreds Killed in Iran

Once again, celebrities can't stand up if it doesn't involve President Trump

The Iranian people could use a hand right about now.

Thousands are protesting their cruel, dictatorial government, a brave stance that has stunned the world.

Well, most of the world.

The tiny sliver of land known as Hollywood couldn’t bother to address the matter at Sunday’s Golden Globes telecast. Some predicted that sorry state of affairs.

While the Iranian government slaughters protesters by the hundreds, Hollywood stars paid tribute to a mother who abandoned her children for an ICE protest that turned deadly.

This week’s death of Renee Good, a far-Left activist who drove into an ICE agent and paid the ultimate price, coaxed several stars to wear “Be Good” pins and speak out on the matter.

Not from the stage, though. The acting community no longer rants from awards show podiums with the ferocity they once did. No, they used red carpet moments to share their outrage over Good’s death.

Think Mark Ruffalo, Jean Smart and Wanda Sykes.

Not all celebrities have abandoned the brave Iranian protesters. Author J.K. Rowling has been speaking out on X regarding the matter, defying the trend.

Pop singer Pink also used her celebrity cache to send her support to the beleaguered nation.

Singer David Draiman did something different. He dared to call out his fellow celebrities for their stunning silence on the subject.

UPDATE: A few celebrities have been consistent on human rights in toto, including Patricia Heaton and Five for Fighting singer John Ondrasik.

  1. Monkeys will fly out of their arses before H-wooders will ever criticize the leaders of a Muslim nation. Even if those leades are killing other Muslims.
