Conservative comic shares why one club banned her, sight unseen

The conservative comic consistently goes viral for her routines, be it crowd work smackdowns or stand-up gags. She’s fearless.
That matters. It also puts a target on her.
One particular joke made that a literal statement. Wexler shared the fallout from an immigration bit with “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” last week.
Wexler said she was shocked that another joke from her repertoire drew little outrage. She has compared Muslims to pit bulls, suggesting the majority of both groups aren’t violent, but …
She didn’t get blowback from pit bull owners from that routine. Instead, she heard positive feedback from dog owners.
The one that sparked the death threats?

She was at the White House in the spring of 2025 as part of an influencer gathering. She got some face time with spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, and she opened with the riff that caused a kerfuffle. Leavitt brought up President Donald Trump’s work with deportations and securing the southern border.
That gave Wexler an opening.
“I can attest to the fact that deportations are working because my Uber drivers finally speak English again,” she told Leavitt.
“Everyone laughed,” she recalled. “I leave the room and my phone is blowing up … I’m getting so many death threats in my Instagram, to my web site. I was put in touch with the FBI because I was getting so many threats over it … over that joke.'”
“And I put [the gag] on Instagram because I can’t help myself,” she added.

Earlier in the conversation, she shared the pressure she faces as a right-leaning comedian in a woke world. Yes, the woke mind virus is in decline, but it hasn’t faded away.
She’s proof of it.
“When you see me on that stage, I am kicking down so many doors to be on that stage. I am fighting for that stage time. And I’m dealing with defamation after,” she said of how she’s treated in the liberal-leaning comedy world.
One example?
She said a “well known” New York comedy club banned her from appearing again, but it wasn’t for any joke she told.
What happened?
“A trans server who was offended by my existence when I performed [sparked the banishment]. I didn’t even make any trans jokes, but now I wish I had,” she said, giving the latter words comic emphasis.
She later confronted the club’s booking manager to ask why she was banned from the venue. “‘You offended a trans server,'” was the reply, specifically a person born a woman who now identifies as a man.
She turned the answer into a comedy bit.
“Well, if this person wants to convince us that she’s a man, maybe she should stop acting like a little girl,” Wexler quipped.
Did Wexler cross a line? Should comedians ever worry about crossing a cultural line with their material?
I applaud that gal for her courage and I wish her well. That joke she made abut Uber drivers was amusing, and it was harmless compared to the vile crap that leftist performers have spewed out of their foul mouths in the past. I detest the double standard of the hateful, deranged left.
Saying that uber drivers speaking English was enough to trigger death threats? Wheww – good thing she didn’t mention understanding clerks at 7-11! What’s wrong with people? Such thin skinned nitwits!
Wasn’t it biden who shared a similar joke about 7-11 managers and not speaking English. Double standards.
Wexler is GD smart and funny as hell. I’ve seen her quick witted responses to hecklers and she knows her stuff and doesn’t hesitate to shred them. I quite enjoy her comedy. Some people will claim she’s “punching down,” but I disagree. Given the leftoid default response of “canceling” and even resorting to violence for people simply SAYING things they don’t like, I’d very much say that she’s punching UP and fighting back against the modern day commie propagandists that are trying to take over our country. The fact that she’s physically very attractive is just a bonus.
