Introducing the Hollywood In Toto Podcast

Does the world really need another podcast?

It’s astounding that anyone with a laptop and microphone can create his own radio show. That media democratization is a glorious thing.

So why don’t more podcasts have conservatives in mind when it comes to pop culture?

Enter the Hollywood in Toto podcast.

The new show began this week with a trio of interview guests – Seth Swirsky, Kyle Smith and John Nolte. You can expect a new episode every Friday from now on, including the Dec. 9 show featuring right-leaning funny man Andrew Heaton.

Listen to “HiT ep. 1 Seth Swirsky” on Spreaker.

The HiT podcast, like this site, covers Hollywood from a conservative point of view. So we’ll have plenty of information for Red State dwellers. It won’t just be for them, though. We’ll invite a variety of voices to chime in on the pop culture news of the day.

We might even disagree now and then.

Your host has been contributing to radio shows for more than a decade. I review films each week for WTOP-FM in Washington, DC. I co-host “Mike Rosen at the Movies,” heard in Denver on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM/94.1 FM. I’m also part of Friday’s Hollywood in Toto segment on Denver’s “The Michael Brown Show” on 630 KHOW.

Every new podcast endures a few bumps out of the starting gate. So I’ll apologize for them now.

If there’s a guest you’d like to hear on the show, or a topic you’d like me to tackle — please leave your suggestions in the comments below.
