Long, Polishchuk Mock No Kings Rally’s Free Speech ‘Fight’

'Boyscast' hosts mock Left's hunger to silence contrarian views

It’s no accident rebel comics like Joe Rogan, Theo Von, Andrew Schulz and Tim Dillon appeared pro-Trump during the 2024 election cycle.

Comedians had been censored across the media landscape in the Age of Biden. Their jokes got nuked on social media. Their sets sparked cancelation campaigns.

The Left’s message was clear: Watch what you joke about … or else. Sadly, Democrats no longer fight for free speech.

Two recent examples? Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and former President Barack Obama are both pushing for government censorship.

They’re far from alone.

It’s why “The Boyscast” found it funny that the recent “No Kings” protests cited free speech as being under attack in the Trump era.

Hosts Ryan Long and Danny Polishchuk laughed about the June 14 protests, specifically claiming that speech is under fire. They mocked the geriatric nature of the rallies as well as the heavy pro-Palestinian flag waving at gatherings across the country.

“Also it’s funny because part of their thing was that it’s a free speech rally from the people who hate free speech by the rest of the world,” Long said.

“Also, a king wouldn’t let you do this … in North Korea there’s no, ‘No Kim Jung Un Day,'” Polishchuk said.

“Yes, there is stuff that Trump is doing … but if you put up all the presidents and all of the movements that want censorship in one way or the other, you like most of them,” Long said. “It’s wild to wrap yourself up in a free speech thing.”

The Left hasn’t said much, if anything, about European nations clamping down on social media speech, for example.

Closer to home, President Joe Biden, or his Autopen, pressured major social media platforms to censor information tied to COVID-19 and the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Team Biden attempted a Ministry of Information-style group led by Nina Jankowicz.

The ill-fated Disinformation Governance Board promised to fight disinformation, but it was headed by someone who personally spread “disinformation.”

Liberal rocker Neil Young tried to silence Joe Rogan in 2021 for sharing contrarian views about the global pandemic.

The “No Kings” crowd never spoke up about these speech issues.
