Why Trump’s Theo Von Interview Should Scare Team Harris
Rebel comic humanizes former president, reaches invaluable independents
Theo Von is no Greg Gutfeld.
That’s neither an insult to Von nor the Fox News superstar.
Gutfeld works for Fox News and is openly conservative with a kiss of Libertarian thrown in for good measure.
Von is … mostly apolitical, a comedian who is both curious about the world and willing to follow funny narratives wherever they take him.
Earlier this month, Von interviewed Sen. Bernie Sanders, an avowed socialist who isn’t running for national office. Yesterday, Von interviewed Donald Trump, a Republican eager to spend four more years in the White House.
The latter generated nearly 6 million views in under 24 hours.
It’ll only grow from there, and that doesn’t include viewers catching snippets on various social media platforms. Von boasts 6.8 million Instagram followers alone.
The interview allowed Trump to reach Von’s eclectic base, a passion throng that doesn’t pledge allegiance to one party over the other.
And, as it turns out, young Barron Trump is a big Von fan.

The Donald Trump-Kamala Harris slugfest will come down to the so-called Persuadables. Trump has the GOP in his mighty grip, and it’s been that way for nearly a decade. Harris, by replacing the feeble Joe Biden, energized her party’s base.
Now, it’s up to the free thinkers who ping between one party and the other.
That group has a harder time getting to know the real Kamala Harris. Why? She refuses to do press interviews. And she sure won’t drop by Von’s studio anytime soon even if he offers her a spot in his studio.
Her team is tightly controlling her media appearances, possibly due to her word-salad answers.
That leaves Trump to go to unusual places to pick up votes. And along the way, reach voters still unsure who to support this November.
Trump just made an impression, better or worse, with millions who will be voting this fall.
What’s interesting is Trump will go where “hardball” is too mild a word to describe what who interviews him throws his way, while Harris won’t even talk to interviewers that drool over her at every turn.
8.8 million now
The left must be seething because it also puts to bed the audio issues when Trump sat down with Trump and his audio was distorted.
I’m surprised they aren’t going on an all out attack on Theo for ‘humanising’ Trump, like they did with Jimmy Fallon leading up to the 2016 election.
Then again maybe they are and I’m not just in those spaces online.
I’ve never heard of Mr. Von, but he seems level headed and intelligent. He SHOULD push for the Kamala to “come out and talk” – in her OWN WORDS about HER Policies and vision for Our Nation!
