Consumers who feel the need for speed can now experience it for free thanks to Tubi TV.
The streaming site is adding more than 50 Paramount Pictures titles to its content library, including the 1986 blockbuster “Top Gun.”
Films now available on ad-supported Tubi TV include “Basic Instinct,” “Total Recall,” “Star Trek: The Final Frontier” and “The Hunt for Red October.” The outlet doesn’t just offer classic movies. Films from 2013 and 2014 also can be found on the service along with horror fare (“Thinner,” “The Devil Inside”) and TV shows (“Spaced,” “Whose Line Is It Anyway”).
Some of the selections are admittedly obscure. Consider such titles as “Fetching Cody,” “Flesh Feast” and “Frauleins in Uniform.”
Tubi TV is available via its official web site as well as on iTunes, Google Play and streaming devices including Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Xbox 360. Tubi TV features roughly 4-6 minutes of commercials per 30 minutes of programming.
