The CIA routinely takes a pounding on the big screen these days.
Look no further than “The November Man,” the latest film following some CIA agents who operate under less than ethical guidelines.
Now, a new thriller promises to take a fresh stab at the agency.
Michael Douglas, Noomi Rapace and Orlando Bloom will star in “Unlocked,” to be directed by Michael Apted (“The World Is Not Enough”). The film’s release statement sets the mood.
With principal photography beginning on November 3, UNLOCKED tells the story of a CIA interrogator (Rapace) who unwittingly provides information to terrorists and then must race against the clock to stop a biological warfare attack on London.
