Joe Rogan, Dennis Quaid Torch Woke Religion

'Reagan' star joins Spotify podcaster in shredding cult-like movement

Dennis Quaid is both politically Independent and red-pilled to the core.

The Hollywood legend, who plays the 40th president in “Reagan,” keeps proving it across the media landscape.

His latest interview came via “The Joe Rogan Experience.” The veteran actor echoed the host’s views on politics, the media and more.

They marveled at the press cheerleading for Vice President Kamala Harris, decried the lawfare campaign against President Donald Trump and worried about the state of the union.

And, when it came to the woke revolution, the pair sang from the very same hymnal.

It’s a religion, full stop.

The subject came up during a discussion about trans women in sports. Rogan, a longtime UFC commentator, understands the biological differences that demographic brings to competitive games. And he’s not afraid to bring it up.

He’s been canceled before and survived. Quaid told Rogan he’s endured two Cancel Culture-style attempts. He may suffer a third for vocally supporting Trump this Fall.

And he’s never been busier.

“It’s like, ‘don’t look behind the curtain.’ It’s like Oz,” Quaid said about the trans sports discussion. Those who disagree, they said, are part of a large movement that’s cult-like in its thinking.

“It’s people that don’t have religion, that’s what it is, and they have a new religion, it’s this woke ideology,” Rogan said. “They’re acting the same way a religious zealot would act.”

“Complete with the doctrine and everything that goes with it to spout,” Quaid said. “There is no argument.”

“They can’t debate, because if you debate about it, the facts outweigh their ideology,” Rogan said. “If you look at the biological facts of this stuff, it outweighs the ideology.”

They shifted to trans children, noting both the uncertainty around the pre-teen mind and the influence woke culture has had on today’s youth.

“People are very easily influenced,” Rogan said. “And if they’re taught by the people around them, If they get positive reinforcement if they go in a particular direction, people do that.”

“How many people in Hollywood have trans kids? And how is it possible?” Rogan continued. “Is it just the openness that’s always been there, or is it that this is some sort of a f***ing mind virus and these people are being influenced by the positive reaction they get from saying they’re LGBTQ+AI whatever the f*** it is now.”

Quaid asked a sobering question next.

“How do you think we get back to being able to have an exchange of ideas and not just try to put the other one in jail or dismiss them from society?” Quaid asked with an awkward laugh at the idea of jailing people for wrongthink.

It’s not hypothetical.

“It sounds ridiculous, but I think the only way is to do what we’re doing now, and to continue talking about it as reasonable people and have people listen to it and it shapes people’s opinions of things,” Rogan said.

That helps explain why the press is hellbent on canceling Rogan once and for all.

“Reagan,” co-starring Jon Voight, Penelope Ann Miller, Robert Davi, Kevin Sorbo, Mena Suvari and Nick Searcy, opens Aug. 30.

  1. Funny how hard the left is trying to cancel Joe Rogan, a guy who is definitely NOT right-wing, he’s just not 100% in lockstep with the activist crazies in Hollywood.
